123TVNOW / DISCOVERY GUIDE

Make sense of streaming quality

Resolution, bandwidth and the source all matter.

Check the player’s own information

A resolution label describes output dimensions, not the quality of every source frame. Older films and restored editions can look very different at the same resolution.

Start with your connection

Use the provider’s published connection guidance. A wired connection or a stronger Wi-Fi signal can help when playback repeatedly buffers.

Choose settings deliberately

Automatic quality can adapt to changing bandwidth. If you use a manual setting, choose one your connection and device can sustain. This site has no player to configure.

A practical example

For example, if a manual quality setting repeatedly buffers, compare it with the player’s automatic setting before changing your subscription.
